Club Structure

I joined Uley AFC as a player in 1979 at the age of 17 and have been involved in the club ever since.

Over the years I have played in teams with some great players, I feel lucky and privileged to have been captain of the first team in arguably Uley’s most successful team ever during the late 1980s.

Since hanging up my playing boots I have had various roles within the club including manager and Vice Chairman.

My current position in the club is Treasurer and Shadwell playing fields committee football club representative.

Hi, I’m Anth Stackman, and I’ve been proud to call Uley Football Club my home for nearly ten years now. I joined the club in 2016, and since then, it’s been an incredible journey. Over the years, I’ve played in numerous positions during this time and have had the chance to grow both as a player and a person within this amazing team.

Football has always been a huge part of my life, and it’s been an honor to contribute to Uley’s success and community spirit. The bond I’ve built with my teammates and the club’s supporters is something I’ll always cherish.
